In 2021, we introduced a new program, FreeU, that makes a college degree accessible for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ employees in the U.S. When you enroll, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will pay 100% of the cost of tuition, required core classes, textbooks, and academic advising, up to $7,000 per calendar year. You will team up with a personal coach who will help you meet your education goals. If English isn’t your first language, there’s also support to help you with the English skills needed to complete your degree or certification successfully. FreeU is available to all ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ employees working 20 or more hours per week.
We enhanced the FreeU program in 2024 to provide more support services, including tutoring. We also increased the list of eligible schools with more available start dates, and we expanded our education goals. In addition to a bachelor's degree, employees can use the program to earn an associate degree, technical trade certifications, or academic credit-bearing certifications. This is a benefit designed to help our employees who may have put off college for financial or other reasons.
